El Óleo tradicional con más pigmento del mercado
Parte fundamental de la fabricación del Óleo MIR es el refinado de la pasta inicial de pigmento y aceite. Esta masa se hace pasar a través de unos molinos compuestos por tres rodillos de acero, tantas veces como sea necesario, para conseguir la perfecta dispersión de las partículas de pigmento en el medio de aceite. De esta forma, el óleo obtendrá sus características de finura, cremosidad, brillo y poder tintóreo y se favorece la estabilidad en el tiempo de la pintura tanto dentro del tubo como una vez aplicada.
Cada pigmento tiene un tiempo de secado natural, diferente según las condiciones de temperatura y humedad. En la fabricación del Óleo MIR intentamos acercar los diferentes tiempos de secado a fin de que los colores de una obra sequen de forma pareja pero, no queremos con ello comprometer la estabilidad de la pintura por lo que, siempre habrán diferencias que el artista asume como consustanciales a la técnica del óleo.
La gama de Óleo MIR contiene colores cubrientes complementada con semi y totalmente transparentes. La cubrición es una propiedad intrínseca del pigmento en el medio aceite y el artista sabe hacer uso tanto de los pigmentos que tapan como de aquellos transparentes que le permiten sutiles efectos de veladuras.
